About the role

There is currently a job opening for "Operations Research Analyst" in our Operations Research department. As an Operations Research Analyst you will support the development and implementation of data-driven solutions that improve efficiency, optimize performance and guide strategic decision-making across key operational areas.

What you will do:

  • Contribute to the analysis of large datasets from aircraft routes, crew routes, maintenance events, delays and disrupted passengers to identify trends, bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement in operations
  • Identify and understand potential or existing operational problems and trends
  • Prepare clear, data-driven reports and visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders
  • Support the operations planning team in tail assignment, aircraft utilization, crew pairing, rostering and reserve planning
  • Monitor and analyze industry trends

You fit
, if you cover the following
requirements
:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering or in a relevant field
  • Fluency in oral and written Greek and English
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI
  • Familiarity with programming language such as Python, DAX, SQL

And you have
competence
in:

  • Analytical mindset with a proactive approach
  • Problem solving and managing projects in an efficient manner
  • Communicating effectively in a structured manner, with all stakeholders
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams, while independently driving key initiatives
  • Adaptability and eagerness to stay current with data analysis trends
