Cook B

Position Summary:

The cook primarily will be responsible to prepare high-quality meals in accordance with food health and safety regulations and company standards. To be successful, he/she should be able to use various cooking techniques and methods to prepare meals that meet customers' expectations. Additionally, he/she must be able to handle multiple food orders simultaneously without compromising on quality.

Scope:

  • Reports to Cook A.
  • Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment
  • Prepare ingredients to use in cooking (chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat etc.)
  • Cook food in various utensils or grillers.
  • Check food while cooking to stir or turn.
  • Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen.
  • Ensure all food and other items are stored properly.
  • Check quality of ingredients.

Prerequisites:

  • One or more years working experience in a similar role preferably in the hospitality sector.
  • Degree / Diploma in culinary art.
  • Good knowledge of English language.
