As part of our continuous growth, we are seeking to strengthen our Group Finance function with a highly motivated Financial Planning & Analysis professional, based in Athens.

About the Role

The Financial Planning & Analysis Professional will play a key role in delivering high-quality financial reporting and insights, as well as strategic analysis across the Group.

The candidate will work closely with the Head of FP&A and Group CFO as well as subsidiaries' CFOs, ensuring robust financial planning, forecasting, and performance management processes across HHG's operations in Greece and Cyprus.

What You Will Do

· Analyze and interpret financial and operational results, identifying key trends, variances, and improvement opportunities.

· Comparing actual financial results against the budget and forecast to understand performance drivers.

· Creating clear reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights to leadership.

· Work closely with top management to align financial information with strategic goals and support decision making.

· Develop and maintain financial models to support mid- and long-term strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting.

· Support management in project evaluations, investment decisions and capital allocation.

· Oversee annual budgets and prepare dynamic, ongoing forecasts

· Prepare consolidated monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS standards.

· Maintain and enhance internal controls, accounting policies, and group reporting procedures & efficiencies.

· Enhance the monthly closing processes ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

The Ideal Candidate Should Have

· Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, or Accounting.

· Professional Accounting Degree (ACCA / ACA / FPAC) is a strong asset.

· 3-7 years of experience in a similar role in a large organization or in Audit/Consulting Services (Big 4 experience will be highly considered).

· Solid knowledge of Financial Accounting and IFRS.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

· Experience in developing financial models to support the budgeting and forecasting processes.

· Strong organizational and time-management skills; ability to meet tight deadlines.

Job-Specific Skills

· Financial modelling and mastering of 3 statement models.

· Advanced Excel Formulas and Functions, Power Query is an advantage.

· Data visualization and storytelling to enable translation of complex financial data into clear, accessible insights and messages.

· Excellent communication in English language (writing & speaking).

· Data orientation and handling large datasets.

· Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.

· Excellent command of PowerPoint.

· Knowledge of BW, HANA, Power BI or other BI applications will be considered an asset.
