The Role in a Nutshell

We are seeking an experienced
Cyber Security Engineer
on behalf of our client. The ideal candidate combines technical expertise in penetration testing and industrial protocols with a solid understanding of security standards and risk assessment methodologies. You will play a key role in the technical coordination of projects, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and vendors to enhance the cybersecurity posture of critical infrastructure systems.

Your Day-to-Day

  • Implement, manage and enhance of Cyber Security solutions and tools.
  • Liaise with Vendors and Lead Projects' implementation related to Cyber Security solutions of organization.
  • Collaborate and Coordinate with IT and development teams to design, implement and integrate security controls into systems, databases and applications.
  • Analyze, plan and implement security hardening, remediation actions and prioritize vulnerabilities based on severity and potential impact related to central IT systems of infrastructure.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies relevant to Cyber Security.

Your Key Strengths

  • University or College Degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or relevant technology-related field. MSc in Information Security will be considered a plus.
  • Experience with Endpoint & Email, Data and Identity security tools/techniques.
  • Deep Knowledge and hands-on experience with security solutions (Web Application Firewalls (WAF), XDR/EDR, SIEM, Database Activity Monitoring (DAM), Email Security, etc.).
  • Security related certifications will be considered a plus: CC, Security+, AZ-500, SC-100, SC-200, BTL1, etc.
  • Strong troubleshooting, reasoning, and problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivated, organized, and proactive
  • Ability to multi-task and change priorities with short notice
