We are looking for dynamic and committed consultants to join our activities in the following areas:

  • Energy policy and planning
  • Energy markets and regulation
  • Climate change and CO₂ emissions reduction
  • Energy technologies supporting energy transition, including technologies of advanced biofuels and synthetic fuels technologies.

Candidates with more than 5 years specific thematic experience relevant to the above topics will be highly appreciated for Senior positions.

Main responsibilities

  • Conduct policy analysis, policy impact assessments, and sectoral/national planning across various geographies (EU, Africa, Central Asia)
  • Participate in projects on low-carbon fuels (for road transport, aviation, maritime), renewable hydrogen, synthetic fuels, and other related energy and climate topics
  • Work on assignments funded by international organizations (European Commission, World Bank, EIB, EBRD, etc.) as well as private sector clients
  • Contribute to the drafting of proposals for international tenders and private sector requests
  • Prepare analyses, reports, and presentations for clients and stakeholders
  • Support project management and contribute to business development in existing and new markets.

Qualifications and skills

  • University degree in Engineering or another relevant science/technology discipline.
  • Postgraduate degree in the energy field or related subject.
  • In-depth understanding of energy transition technologies and familiarity with the respective policies at EU level (incl. biofuels, hydrogen, etc.).
  • Desired: experience in consulting/advisory services, R&D and innovation projects, familiarity with EU donor and IFI tendering procedures.
  • Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and report-writing skills, with attention to detail.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English. Knowledge of Greek and other languages (particularly French) is an asset.
