Your role will focus on playing an active role in shaping and driving the tax landscape with clients and colleagues each day, the delivery of client engagements by understanding expectations and demonstrating personal accountability for keeping performance on track, exercising effective communication and relationship-building skills and contributing to the priorities of the team and the business. In this role, you will strongly commit to personal learning and development and explore opportunities to make an impact by delivering exceptional client services and act as a brand ambassador to help attract top talent.

During your tenure you will demonstrate and develop your ability to:

• Manage accounting, Finance and Tax compliance Outsourcing activities to clients;
• Preparation of statutory Financial statements under the Greek GAAP and IFRS;
• Preparation of corporate tax returns, (VAT,CIT, Withholding tax etc);
• Analyze and map transactions for MyData purposes;
• Advise clients on statutory accounting and tax compliance requirements;
• Provide initial recommendations of current tax legislation to Manager level practitioners;
• Demonstrate advanced knowledge of the key capabilities required to deliver a high quality service experience to the client.

Potential candidates should fulfill the following criteria:

• A minimum of two (2) years of relevant work experience in a professional services firm serving clients in different industries;
• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Auditing, Business Administration from a well-acclaimed University in Greece or abroad;
• Excellent command of the English language;
• A professional approach, business acumen and strong communication skills;
• Computer literacy.

The following skills would be considered as assets, although they are not required:

• Prior working experience on a similar role as a tax compliance practitioner or as member of a Tax Audit Certificate Team (TACT);
• Prior working experience as a member of an Audit & Assurance team having participated on Audits of Financial Statements;
• Provide initial recommendations of current tax legislation across the Global Tax and Legal function to Manager level practitioners;
• Select appropriate methods for collecting and analyzing data, and develops informed recommendations that shape or support the client's business strategy;
• Start processes and identify sustainable planning opportunities to help clients mitigate risk, meet compliance obligations and statutory deadlines, and realize business goals;
• Experience in performing tax compliance audits and serving clients in different industries;
• Experience on MyData mapping and transmissions;
• Experience in helping clients mitigate risk, meet compliance obligations and statutory deadlines, and realize business goals;
• A Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Tax, Auditing or related disciplines;
• Completion of the Long-Term TAX Seminar provided by AUEB or other providers;
• A Professional Qualification (ACCA, ACA, or similar);
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
