ELVALHALCOR - Copper &Alloys Extrusion Division is searching for a RAW MATERIAL CATEGORY SPECIALIST with organizational and time-management skills to join our Metal Purchasing department team in our plant in Oinofyta Voiotia, Greece.

Role Description

Key Responsibilities:
Follow-up on purchase and sales contracts.
Continuous communication with suppliers and customers to process issues.
Creates purchase/sales contracts and cost estimates which are approved by the buyer and management.
Creates purchase orders.
Registers metal entries.
Gathers/verifies all necessary import and export documents. Sends purchase invoices to VIM.
Checks and processes domestic purchase payments.
Creates a sorting report and sends it to the supplier. Maintains and monitors the report for claims.
Creates a new supplier, modifies, and expands existing ones to other company codes. Updates on any changes concerning the supplier.
Evaluates suppliers and suggests improvement actions.
Develops tools and optimization procedures for daily work. Participates in new projects.
Reporting.
Organizes and coordinates exports of by-products/scrap.
Follows up on customer payments.
Preparation and categorization of environmental documents for their submission to the Ministry of Environment.
Collection and maintenance of financial and environmental documents from domestic suppliers.
Forwarding documents for signing by management and sending them to relevant parties.

Requirements:
University Degree
Fluency in English, both oral and written (second foreign language desired)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Sound knowledge of SAP ERP
Strong organizational and time management skills
High sense of responsibility with special emphasis on compliance with company's procedures
