Viber is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager with a strong background in customer engagement or fintech and essential retail experience, to lead our efforts in Greece and Europe. This role is crucial to our Fintech Business Development team, focusing on delivering high-quality partnerships that benefit our users. The successful candidate will work independently with global, regional and local commercial brands, public entities and financial partners to plan, create, negotiate, and deliver top-tier partnerships across our platform.
Responsibilities- Secure partners for our Rewards hub, ensuring a diverse and valuable offering for our users.
- Initiate, structure, negotiate, and close partnership deals.
- Define business needs, build business cases and pre-evaluate various offers' value.
- Proactively identify and prospect new partnerships across the fintech landscape that drive long-term value and align with our Global Fintech BD strategy.
- Surface areas for new opportunities with existing partners.
- Build and sustain strong relationships with business decision-makers and internal stakeholders.
- Lead the BD efforts on the ground and update the Global Fintech BD team (and wider business) on current partnerships and pipeline.
- Manage all partnership reporting to generate insights and learnings for each campaign.
- Must have experience in customer engagement and/or loyalty programs.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or a related field.
- +5 years of experience in a business development role.
- Experience in the mobile and/or social media industries.
- Proven track record of closing partnerships and delivering integrated digital campaigns.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced digital environment.
- English and Greek speaker.
- Experience working for an international company is a must.
- Experience working with remote teams is a must.
- Retail experience is a must.
- Fintech experience is a plus.
