Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Operational Excellence Lead to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of equipment, compliance with health and safety standards, reporting, and leading new projects in alignment with company policies and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all required permits and approvals are in place for operational compliance.
  • Supervise the maintenance and repair of fixed equipment, ensuring all machinery is in optimal working condition to support uninterrupted production.
  • Implement and monitor preventive maintenance programs, optimizing equipment performance and extending operational lifespan.
  • Drive productivity improvements through equipment optimization, identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency and reduce downtime.
  • Manage the procurement of spare parts and materials, ensuring cost-effective sourcing through tenders and supplier negotiations.
  • Conduct regular inspections of mechanical equipment, ensuring compliance with safety and performance standards.
  • Coordinate maintenance teams and external collaborators, ensuring timely and high-quality execution of repair and upgrade projects.
  • Lead and support new projects related to equipment upgrades, facility enhancements, and operational efficiency improvements.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from a Polytechnic School.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar position, preferably in an industrial, construction, or site environment.
  • Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance practices and troubleshooting techniques for industrial machinery.
  • Analytical thinking, organizational skills, and a focus on problem-solving and achieving goals.
  • Ability to manage priorities, multitask, and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to coordinate teams and external collaborators effectively.
  • Critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Flexibility and ability to adapt and learn quickly.
  • Team-oriented mindset with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Fluency in Greek and English (written and spoken).
  • Fulfilled military obligations (where applicable).
