Responsibilities

Inside the Service Line Technology & Transformation, you will be part of the SAP Rise and Architectures capability, this specialized SAP Basis team is a designed to support the delivery of complex SAP implementation projects, such as SAP S/4HANA transformations and its extensions with SAP BTP. It provides expertise in designing, planning, and managing diverse deployment architectures - including on-premise, cloud, and hybrid models - ensuring seamless integration, scalability, and optimization. This capability enables organizations to accelerate their digital transformation journeys by aligning technical architecture with business objectives, mitigating risks, and delivering efficient, flexible, and future-ready SAP solutions.

Depending on your previous experience and attitude, in a longer or shorter time, you will progressively be able to and will:

• Work collaboratively with local and remote team.
• Analyze requisites and design new target SAP complex architectures.
• Plan and install new SAP S/4HANA solutions.
• Database Administration: Managing SAP databases, including backup and recovery, data migration, and performance tuning for database systems.
• System Upgrades and Patch Management: Planning and executing system upgrades, applying patches, and ensuring system compatibility with the latest SAP releases.
• SAP System Administration: Managing SAP system landscapes, including configuration, and maintenance of SAP software components.
• Performance Monitoring and Tuning: Monitoring system performance, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing tuning measures to optimize system efficiency.
• Perform Technical Testing and Verifications.
• Ensure the resolution of complex incidents.
• Problem management (bug, updates failures) and propose technical solutions.
• Manage the technical sustainability and ensure alignment with client requirements.
• User and Security Administration: Managing user access, authorizations, and security settings within the SAP environment to ensure data protection and compliance.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields.

• Basic understanding of operating systems, especially Linux (Red Hat, SUSE) and Windows Server.

• Fundamental networking knowledge, including basic protocols, IP addressing, and firewall concepts.

• Introductory knowledge of databases and basic SQL.

• Programming or scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python) for automation.

• Strong motivation to learn and develop technical skills through on-the-job training.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.

• Willingness to work under supervision and gradually take on more complex tasks.

• Proficiency in written and spoken English

• Attention to detail and precision in system administration tasks.

• Collaborative attitude and willingness to learn from senior colleagues.

• Strong interest in IT and SAP technologies with motivation for continuous professional growth.
