#AboutYourRole

As a
Quality Assurance Engineer
, you will play a key role in ensuring the stability and quality of our digital products and enterprise systems. You'll start by contributing to functional and exploratory testing, while progressively building your skills in test automation and modern Quality Engineering practices.

This is an excellent opportunity for junior to mid-level professionals with strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and a genuine interest in deepening their expertise within the Quality Engineering craft. You'll also gain exposure to how Generative AI tools enhance creativity and efficiency in testing.

During your tenure as a
Quality Assurance Engineer,
your key responsibilities will involve:

• Test Design & Execution
  : Design and execute manual test cases for functional, integration, and regression testing based on business requirements and user stories.
• Defect Reporting
  : Log and track issues in collaboration with developers and business analysts using tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
• Exploratory Testing
  : Apply critical-thinking techniques to uncover edge cases and validate real-world user scenarios.
• Documentation & Reporting
  : Maintain clear test documentation and contribute to reports and knowledge bases.
• Team Collaboration
  : Work closely with developers, analysts, and other QA engineers to ensure end-to-end quality coverage.
• Learning Automation
  : Contribute to team initiatives that accelerate your transition toward test automation, leveraging tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Tricentis Tosca, with guidance and support from experienced QA professionals.
• Exploring GenAI in Testing
  : Experiment with Generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot) to assist in test case generation, data creation, and prototype automation scripts.

Key Qualifications

To qualify for the role, you must have:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2-5 years
  of experience in software testing, analysis, or quality assurance.
• Solid understanding of software development lifecycle and testing principles.
• Familiarity with issue tracking and test case management tools such as Jira, Xray, or TestRail.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• A genuine interest in evolving toward test automation and learning modern scripting tools.
• ISTQB Foundation certification will be considered a plus, as an indication of commitment to the quality discipline.
• Experience in Financial Services (Banking and/or Insurance), Energy, Telecommunication or other relevant sectors will be considered a plus.
• Military obligations fulfilled, where applicable.
