We wish to appoint a Tax Accountant Manager, in our Tax Services team, in Athens.

For the right candidate, the position offers excellent advancement opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high level technical and tax compliance to clients, and work as necessary with Seniors, Managers and Partners
  • Monitor of key clients and assure the quality of the deliverables
  • Maintain an up to date technical knowledge of tax planning opportunities in respect of all taxes
  • Share knowledge with Junior and Senior members of the team
  • Deal with ad hoc client advisory and planning issues
  • Involve in business development

Requirements

  • BSc in Accounting, Economics or Business Administration (MSc will be considered an asset)
  • 7+ years of working experience in a medium/ large practice environment (preferably multinational or audit firm)
  • Completion of the Tax seminar provided by AUEB will be considered an plus
  • Excellent knowledge of accounting and tax legislation
  • Fluent in English with excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Great interpersonal and organisational skills
  • Strong technical background
  • Ability to work within deadlines and deliver under pressure
  • Computer-literacy skills
