Role Overview

The Tech Leader is responsible for guiding technical teams in the successful

delivery of projects, ensuring high-quality deliverables, and fostering best

practices in development. The role combines leadership responsibilities, technical

oversight, and collaboration across teams, with a focus on code reviews,

architectural input, and enabling the adoption of new technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a team of developers and analysts within assigned projects.
• Provide oversight and guidance on deliverables, ensuring accountability

and quality.

• Conduct and oversee code reviews (considered the most important

responsibility).

• Translate business requirements into technical designs.
• Provide architectural direction and propose integrations and new

technologies.

• Ensure best practices and support the adoption of new frameworks and

methodologies.

• Collaborate closely with other Tech Leaders (horizontal roles) and Analysts

(high-level and low-level).

• Work cross-functionally with teams to resolve technical challenges.
• Maintain hands-on technical involvement for oversight (not day-to-day

coding).

Architecture & Technologies

• Microservices, multi-layered architectures, and micro-frontends.
• Messaging systems: Kafka, RabbitMQ, Redis (depending on the project).
• Strong understanding of integrations and emerging technologies.

Requirements

• Proven experience in software engineering and leading technical teams.
• Strong background in software architecture and system design.
• Experience with messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, Redis) is a plus.
• Excellent code review skills and ability to enforce best practices.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills across teams.
• Ability to balance leadership responsibilities with technical oversight.
• Adaptability and quick learning mindset – not required to know everything

upfront.
