Veeda Lifesciences is seeking a Data Support Specialist based in Athens for its growing international hematology/oncology Clinical Trials program.

This is a full-time job.

Job overview:

The Data Support Specialist is responsible for configuring the Electronic Data Capture (EDC) system with all the necessary information and parameters for the operation and maintenance of a Clinical Trial.

Main responsibilities:

  • Sets up and maintains new and existing clinical trials websites, using the applied Content Management System (CMS) and the host provider's software platform and tools
  • Builds the electronic Case Report Form (e-CRF) into the EDC system, according to the eCRF model
  • Creates and maintains validation rules according to the Data Validation Plan
  • Uploads and maintains all external data used in the context of a Clinical Trial (e.g., Lab Normal Ranges, Drugs, Stratification Lists etc.)
  • Sets up and maintains email notification lists
  • Sets up user accounts and roles
  • Maintains and manages the Trial's test and development environments
  • Informs web site users of problems, problem resolutions or application changes and updates
  • Documents installation or configuration procedures to allow maintenance and repetition
  • Complies with the Company's Integrated Management System and applicable national and international legislation

Job Requirements:

  • BSc in Informatics or Computer Science, Engineering or Business related
  • At least 6 months of working experience in the field
  • Desired: o Working experience in an enterprise PHP CMS (preferably TYPO3) o Working experience in Cloud Providers' management tools and environment (e.g., AWS Management Console, Plesk, CPanel etc.)
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English
  • Ability to work independently but also as part of the team with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work with multiple priorities and tight deadlines
