Freelance Online Greek Teacher

Let's Teach Greek

Let's Learn Greek is an online language school teaching Greek to adult learners. We're based in Munich, Germany and have been teaching languages online and in person for over 15 years, and during that time have taught more than 5,000 learners worldwide.

We are looking for part-time Greek language teachers to teach both group and individual lessons for German-speaking learners. We provide the students and support; you provide the instruction

Your profile

  • A passion for teaching and excellent communication skills
  • You're driven, self-organised, and comfortable with technology
  • You can legally work as a freelancer (send invoices directly from your company with an EU VAT ID)
  • Technical equipment (internet, headset with mic, laptop/desktop with camera)
  • Comfortable quiet working environment

Your responsibilities

  • Prepare for your lessons by going through the provided material and deciding how it should be taught based on the student's needs
  • Teach individual lessons as well as small groups
  • Create a positive learning environment where students can feel free to make mistakes and experiment with the language
  • Your schedule is based on your availability. We ask that you commit to providing 10-20 lessons per week.
  • Most asked slots: Monday - Thursday ; Friday & Saturday 9 - 13

Your skills and experience:

  • Advanced level German language skills (C1+)
  • You are studying (or studied) Greek Language or similar (e.g. education, linguistics)
  • Ideally you have experience teaching Greek (not essential)

  • Teach Greek to motivated adult learners from all over the world
  • Independent contractor (freelancer) contract
  • Compensation will be €15 per 45-minute lesson
