The role
We are seeking a commercially minded, creative Presales & Product Marketing Manager to join our headquarters in Athens. This is a global role, supporting sales and commercial operations across Latin America, Africa, the Middle East, Asia, and Europe.
The position's core focus is on presales excellence — you'll be the engine behind our global presales efforts, powering proposals, business cases, and financial models that help our commercial teams win. At the same time, you'll bring our products to life — turning complex features and data into clear, compelling stories that resonate with clients worldwide.
This is a role where you'll collaborate closely with our Sales, Product, Performance, Operational, and Commercial teams to ensure that every proposal, pitch, and piece of collateral accurately reflects the value, differentiation, and impact of Upstream's services.

Key Accountabilities
Drive the presales engine:
- Act as a central point of contact for presales activities globally, supporting all regional commercial teams.
- Lead the creation of proposals, business cases, and RFPs that tell a story backed by rock-solid numbers and insight.
- Craft financial models and commercial forecasts that help us make smart, data-driven decisions.
- Develop high-quality sales and pitch materials that clearly communicate technical and commercial value to clients.
- Keep your finger on the pulse of the global sales funnel, managing pipeline accuracy and reporting across markets.
- Partner with Sales and Product teams to align on what's possible and ensure every proposal is both exciting and executable.
- Support key client discussions or presentations when needed, representing the presales perspective with confidence and clarity.
Turn insights into actions:
- Research market and competitor trends, from new technologies to customer behaviors.
- Build concise, actionable reports that guide commercial and product strategies.
- Spot opportunities and help us stay ahead of the curve.
Bring the story to life:
- Collaborate with the Product teams to translate product capabilities and technical features into compelling customer-facing narratives.
- Take our products and turn them into stories that sell through presentations, one-pagers, and pitches that stand out.
- Create or support internal activations to keep teams informed, aligned, and inspired.
- Occasionally, roll up your sleeves to shape social media or campaign content that shines a light on our commercial strengths.
- Background: You come from a background in Technology, Consulting, or Marketing, and if you've added an MBA on top, that's a definite plus.
- Experience: You bring 5+ years of experience supporting sales teams by creating impactful sales materials, proposals, and pitches, ideally in B2B environments. Experience in marketing or consulting is always welcome.
- Skills: You're fluent in the everyday toolkit, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Google Workspace, and you know how to turn data and ideas into visuals that make sense (and make an impact). You're also comfortable using CRM and project management tools (like Pipedrive or JIRA).
- Communication: You've got strong written and verbal communication skills in English, and if you can also speak Portuguese or French, that's a great bonus.
- Industry Knowledge: You understand the bigger picture, competitors, value-added services, marketing channels, and mobile technologies, and how these shape business models and customer needs.
- Track Record: You've proven yourself as someone who can identify customer pain points, shape tailored solutions, and communicate value with clarity and confidence.
