Financial Controller

Join our dynamic team at EUROPEAN DYNAMICS as a Financial Controller and play a crucial role in supporting the financial and controlling activities of the Group internationally. Working along with a team, you will provide valuable support and monitoring the preparation of financial statements of international companies that adhere to regulatory and accounting guidelines. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that the company's accounting and financial processes meet established standards, promoting accurate financial reporting and effective control. What you'll do:

• Supporting and reviewing correct bookkeeping on a monthly basis;
• Monitoring month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data (review of TB, GL, BS);
• Responsible for the preparation of financial statements in compliance with official international guidelines and requirements;
• Liaising with external auditors and leading the finalization of the annual statutory audits of the group's companies internationally;
• Supporting and reviewing most aspects of accounting management (invoicing, journal entries, account reconciliation, reporting etc.);
• Reviewing the company's accounting information to identify and resolve inaccuracies or imbalances;
• Preparation and review of the monthly internal reporting;
• Reviewing of monthly intra-company obligations;
• Monitoring ERP system.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field;
• 5-7 years of relevant professional experience – ideally in a multinational environment; Prior experience in an IT company will be considered as an asset;
• Excellent command of English both written and oral; Second language will be considered as an asset;
• Solid knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and regulations;
• Solid knowledge of accounting and financial processes (budgeting, financial closure, reporting etc.)
• Working knowledge of MS Office (especially excel) and accounting software (e.g. Navision, SAP etc);
• Excellent communication and presentation skills;
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and integrity;
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced international environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
