We are looking for a
Junior Network Security Engineer
to join our team and contribute to the protection and security of our client's network infrastructure and data.

The ideal candidate will participate in monitoring, analyzing, and enhancing network security while gaining hands-on experience and growing within the cybersecurity field.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor the security of network and system environments.
  • Analyze security incidents and assist in daily security operations.
  • Support vulnerability assessment and remediation processes.
  • Assist in the implementation of security policies, standards, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with senior team members to improve security mechanisms and processes.
  • Participate in network security improvement projects and threat monitoring activities.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Networking, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of Network Security concepts (firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, proxies).
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP, OSI model, and core networking protocols.
  • Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • Good command of the English language, both written and spoken.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn and develop.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with SIEM tools, firewalls, and vulnerability scanning tools.
  • Security certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CCNA, Fortinet NSE, or equivalent (considered an asset).
  • Previous experience (including internships) in a similar role will be considered a plus.
