Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Purchasing Officer based in Athens, Greece. The Purchasing Officer will oversee and coordinate procurement activities, including managing purchasing processes, preparing purchase orders and requisitions, and negotiating contracts. The role also involves ensuring cost-efficient practices, maintaining vendor relationships, and analyzing purchasing trends to support operations effectively.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Purchasing Processes, Purchase Orders, and Purchase Requisitions
  • Strong skills in Contract Negotiation and vendor management
  • Analytical Skills for monitoring procurement trends and ensuring cost efficiency
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Familiarity with the hospitality or restaurant industry is a plus
  • Proficiency in relevant software (e.g., ERP systems) is beneficial
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
