We're looking for a
Senior VMware Engineer
to join our team on behalf of one of our major clients in the banking sector.

The VMware Senior Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust and scalable virtual infrastructure across the organization. The role requires expertise in VMware vSphere environments, including ESXi, vCenter, vSAN, and NSX, as well as demonstrated experience in automating infrastructure tasks and optimizing performance for mission-critical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, deploy, and administer VMware vSphere environments (ESXi, vCenter, vSAN, NSX).
  • Lead virtualization projects, including environment upgrades, migrations, and cloud integrations.
  • Monitor system performance, ensure high availability, and maintain disaster recovery readiness.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, providing support for business-critical applications.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation for infrastructure components and operational procedures.

Required Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience with VMware technologies including vSphere (ESXi, vCenter), vSAN, NSX, and SRM.
  • Proven ability to lead virtualization projects and deployments in enterprise environments.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and clear communication abilities.
  • Advanced knowledge in disaster recovery, capacity planning, and performance tuning.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience automating infrastructure tasks using PowerCLI, Ansible, or Terraform.
  • Familiarity with cloud integration and hybrid environments.
  • Ability to work effectively in multi-disciplinary teams and mentor junior engineers.
  • The ideal candidate brings a blend of technical depth in VMware technologies, automation expertise, strong communication, and leadership abilities in fast-paced environments
