Role

Shipping economist /accountant and dealsdesk analyst with demonstrated working experience from dry operating and /or shipowning companies

Key responsibilities

  • Daily PnL reports with variance analysis
  • Invoice coding and bookings, ensuring correct cost and income allocation
  • Liaison with operations and chartering desks to ensure alignment on PnL outcomes and proper freight analysis
  • Support the overall accounting and bookkeeping functions including accounts payable and receivable and capital assets according to accounting standards and organization policies.
  • Perform the periodic (monthly, quarterly and annual) closing and participate in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
  • Collaborate with external bodies for the organization / execution of the accounting operations.
  • Cooperates with the external and internal auditors when needed
