About SFEE:

The Hellenic Association of Pharmaceutical Companies (SFEE) represents the interests of its 63 member companies in Greece, working to promote access to medicines and ensure a stable and ethical healthcare environment. SFEE collaborates closely with government bodies, healthcare stakeholders, and international partners to shape policy and regulatory frameworks that support public health and sustainable development.

Position Overview:

We are seeking an in-house Legal & Compliance Director to lead our Legal and Compliance department. The successful candidate will provide legal guidance on a wide range of issues related to healthcare and pharmaceutical regulation, compliance, and various policy developments. This is a strategic role at the intersection of law and pharma legislation, supporting SFEE's internal operations and external engagement with stakeholders.

Key responsibilities:

·       Provide legal advice on pharmaceutical legislation and policy, health, and regulatory developments at national and EU level.

·       Support SFEE's advocacy efforts by preparing legal analysis, opinions, and position papers.

·       Monitor and interpret legal developments affecting the pharmaceutical sector.

·       Ensure compliance with relevant laws, including public procurement, competition law, GDPR, and EFPIA/IFPMA codes.

·       Collaborate with EFPIA legal team on EU legislation & compliance matters.

·       Collaborate with internal SFEE departments and member companies on relevant.

·       Support SFEE first- and second-degree compliance committees.

Qualifications:

·       Minimum of 8-10 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry, healthcare sector, or a regulatory/legal advisory role.

·       University degree in Law; postgraduate specialization in Health Law, EU law, or a related field is a plus.

·       Licensed to practice law in Greece.

·       Strong understanding of Greek and EU pharmaceutical regulatory frameworks.

·       Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Greek and English.

·       High ethical standards, critical thinking, and ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
