Test Automation Engineer – On-site | Athens, Greece
Our partner is currently looking for an experienced Test Automation Engineer with excellent command of English to join their team on-site in Athens, Greece.
In this role, the successful candidate will be integrated into the company's Development team and work in close collaboration with a major client's IT department. The work will be carried out either at the company's premises or directly on-site at the customer's location, with daily presence required at the client's offices in Athens.

Nationality: EU nationals only (due to access to sensitive data)
Languages: Excellent command of English is required
If you are a test automation engineer ready to take part in high-impact projects in a secure and collaborative environment, we would be happy to hear from you
- Analyse the system under testing and design the test automation strategy;
- Create, design and maintain test plans as well as develop test acceptance criteria;
- Create, design and maintain test scripts and test data;
- Prepare and plan the test environments;
- Perform testing activities and report test results;
- Log any defects and potential improvements;
- Generate requisite documentation to support quality management activities;
- Convert manual test cases to automated scripts and define the scope of automation.
Requirements
- University degree combined with relevant IT professional experience of 6 years;
- Proficiency in designing comprehensive test strategies and implement structured test plans;
- Proficient in developing and maintaining test scripts, test data, and acceptance criteria;
- Hands-on experience with test execution, defect logging, and reporting test results;
- Solid understanding of software testing procedures and platforms, including both manual and automated testing;
- Skilled in defining the scope of test automation and converting manual test cases to automated scripts;
- Experience with integration testing and automation in web technologies and Microsoft environments;
- Experience with automation testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress);
- Experience with Test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail, Azure DevOps);
- Familiarity with web technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and Microsoft applications (e.g., SharePoint, Office 365);
- Excellent command of the English language.
