Role Summary

As a
Unity XR Developer
, you'll be part of our engineering team, contributing to the design and development of interactive 
AR and VR experiences
.

Depending on your experience, you'll either:

  • (Junior)
     assist in building real-time systems in Unity, applying creative and technical problem-solving with a solid mathematical mindset, or
  • (Mid-Level)
     take ownership of complex AR/VR features and lead the implementation of high-performance real-time systems.

You'll combine strong mathematical reasoning with technical expertise to design precise, scalable, and immersive XR experiences across platforms.

Responsibilities

Core Responsibilities (both levels):

  • Develop and optimize 
    XR interactions and mechanics
     in Unity using 
    C#
  • Support the integration of 3D assets, shaders, and real-time effects
  • Apply mathematical concepts
     (vectors, quaternions, transforms) in developing spatial interactions
  • Test, debug, and optimize 
    XR applications
     for different devices
  • Collaborate with 
    cross-disciplinary teams
     of artists, designers, and engineers to deliver smooth, interactive environments

Additional Responsibilities (Mid-Level):

  • Architect and develop XR features
     leveraging Unity, C#, and XR frameworks (AR Foundation, OpenXR, Meta)
  • Apply 
    advanced mathematics
     (vector calculus, matrix transformations, physics-based interactions) to ensure realistic spatial behavior
  • Optimize rendering and simulation performance
     for mobile and headset devices
  • Collaborate with 
    3D, AI, and UX teams
     to deliver high-performance results
  • Review code, maintain documentation, and mentor junior developers

Qualifications

Required (all levels):

  • Bachelor's degree
     in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field
  • Solid understanding of 
    C# and Unity fundamentals
  • Strong grasp of mathematics relevant to 3D development
    : geometry, linear algebra, and basic physics
  • Familiarity with 
    AR Foundation, XR Interaction Toolkit, OpenXR, Meta
  • Excellent teamwork, communication, and version control (Git/Plastic)
     experience

Junior-Level Candidates:

  • Curiosity for 
    XR technologies
     and real-time rendering pipelines
  • M.Sc. or 
    XR-related research/project experience
     considered a plus

Mid-Level Candidates:

  • 2–4 years of professional Unity development experience
    , ideally in XR with shipped solutions
  • Strong mathematical and analytical background (3D geometry, physics, linear algebra)
  • Proficiency with Unity 
    Editor tools
     and performance profiling
  • Familiarity with 
    networking, localization, or AI integration
     in XR a plus
  • M.Sc. preferred
