SEPTONA, one of the leading Greek companies in personal care operating in Greece and 70 countries globally, is seeking for
an experienced Senior Commercial Financial Analyst to join our Finance Department
.
The role will be reporting to Head of Financial Planning & Analysis
, based in our premises in Kifisia. The role is responsible for delivering business analysis to monitor and control performance, for providing business insight through analysis and for making proposals to minimize cost of doing business and/or drive incremental revenue.

Responsibilities

  • Working with the leadership team to set medium-to-long term strategic direction and operating plans and develop business strategies that create solutions.
  • Provide regular financial analysis and provide qualitative and quantitative information to determine business units and client performance.
  • Provide financial planning and analysis support to senior management and other managers as requested including.
  • Improve and update company internal control managerial workflow.
  • Manage and oversee the Company commercial reporting function.
  • Participate actively in the annual budgeting and planning process.
  • Identify areas for cost reductions and operational improvements.
  • Management of the company P&L.
  • Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies: to include both financial risk and business performance risk.

Qualifications

  • An undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting or related field is required; an MBA is desired Experience.
  • A minimum of 4+ years of progressively responsible finance experience, including management experience.
  • Experience of working in an analytical environment working with large data sets to summarize detailed data and present it clearly at all levels of the business.
  • Strong experience of sales forecasting, planning and P&L modelling.
  • High level of expertise with MS Excel delivering modelling for reporting and business proposal assessments and leading in the development of Excel based expertise in the Management Reporting team.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written, with all levels of management.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Self-motivated with high bias for action and accountability.
  • Strong financial system and data analytic capabilities.
  • Proven track record to meet deadlines, handle multiple priorities.
