We are seeking a SCADA Engineer to join our team and contribute to the analysis, design, troubleshooting, and ongoing maintenance of industrial software systems. In this role, you will work closely with fellow engineers and field personnel to ensure all systems remain functional and that new deployments align with client specifications.

Responsibilities

As a crucial member of our team, you will be entrusted with a diverse range of responsibilities that are essential to the success of our organization. Your primary duties will include:

  • Engaging in and managing projects from inception to completion, ensuring they align with the company's strategic goals.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to foster an environment of innovation and teamwork, enhancing overall productivity.
  • Analyzing and interpreting data to inform decision-making processes and improve operational efficiency.
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and developments, leveraging this information to drive best practices within your role.
  • Communicating effectively with both internal stakeholders and external partners, facilitating clear exchanges of ideas and progress reports.
  • Providing training and support to team members, helping to develop their skills and drive collective performance toward achieving shared objectives.
Requirements
  • BSc in Information Technology or related field.
  • Collaborate with team members on software analysis, design, troubleshooting, maintenance, and documentation.
  • Ensure the functionality of all systems and that new deployments meet client requirements.
  • Provide end-user support for SCADA application systems, including field and corporate users.
  • Developing HMI/SCADA applications.
  • Database configuration and optimization, including developing RDBMS stored procedures.
  • Foundational in software programming, operating systems, and networking.
  • Understanding industrial automation protocols (e.g., Modbus RTU/TCP, OPC UA, and DA).

Additional Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Aveva Edge (formerly InduSoft Web Studio).
  • Knowledge of process control industrial hardware (HMI, PLC, serial servers).
  • Understanding PLC programming.
  • Experience working with sub-contractors and field personnel.
