We are currently looking for a Financial Reporting & Consolidation Specialist to join our Group Finance team based in Nea Ionia, Athens.

As a Financial Reporting & Consolidation Specialist, you will support the preparation of consolidated financial statements, working closely with accounting teams across the Group and external partners. You will also assist in audit processes, internal reporting improvements, and provide accurate and timely financial information to support management decisions.

Key Responsibilities are to:

  • Support the preparation of monthly and annual consolidated financial statements in compliance with IFRS
  • Assist in the preparation of Consolidation and IFRS adjustments
  • Prepare annual reporting packages
  • Work closely with the Accounting departments (Group, PL, RO, GR) to ensure accuracy in reporting
  • Address findings and implement corrective actions relevant to accounting and reporting
  • Support the month-end and year-end closing processes
  • Contribute to the preparation and audit of the annual financial statements of the Group and subsidiary companies
  • Assist in implementing and improving internal controls and reporting processes
  • Support ad hoc reporting and analysis requests from management
  • Liaise with the external auditors

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in financial reporting, accounting or auditing
  • Solid understanding of financial statements and IFRS accounting principles
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and G-sheets
  • Experience with ERP systems is an advantage
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as a collaborative team player in a fast-paced environment
