Athens, Attica, Greece Relational Full time €25,000 - €40,000 per year

We are looking for an Operations Assistant to be part of the team taking care of the financial health of our company by administering daily finance operations to meet legal and company requirements.

You should be familiar with audits, invoices and budget preparations. Our ideal candidate demonstrates interest in participating in finance dpts activities, including bank related processes, accounts payable and accounts receivable, reporting and budgeting. You should also have excellent organizational skills and be able to handle time-sensitive tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Create and update spreadsheets of transactions.
  • Review and process reimbursements (expenses/ travelling etc.).
  • Participate in the creation of budgets and provide administrative support during budget preparation.
  • Maintain reports on financial metrics, including investments, return on assets and growth rates.
  • Report on financial projections (e.g. liquidity and cash flow).
  • Assist the Operations Manager in daily management.
  • Create cost analysis reports.
  • Participate in reporting related to compliance with state requirements and banks and in processes related to bidding.
  • Managing contracts.

Requirements and skills

  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel (creating spreadsheets and charts and using financial Excel functions).
  • Good understanding of bookkeeping procedures.
  • Confidentiality.
  • Knowledge of financial regulations.
  • Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
  • Sharp time management skills and organization skills.
  • Strong ethics, with an ability to manage confidential data.
  • Excellent written and communication skills both in Greek and English.
  • BSc degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics.
