The company is expanding its operations and is looking for a
Senior Health & Safety Engineer
to be a pivotal part of the
HSE CONSULTING & SPECIAL PROJECTS DIRECTORATE.
This is a full-time position based at our headquarters in the center of Athens.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Performing Environmental and Health & Safety audits mainly for Industry and Construction Sites
  • Generating detailed Audit Reports and present H&S Audit Results
  • Project management of specialized HSE services, including coordination of the project team to ensure achievement of project objectives
  • Preparation of Fire Protection Studies and Fire Risk Assessment Studies
  • Coordination of external partners to ensure adherence to critical timelines for Fire Safety Studies, ATEX studies, Energy Audit Studies etc.
  • Participation in and coordination of H&S trainings and evacuation drills
  • Preparation of Health and Safety working instructions / checklists and Health and Safety Procedures
  • Conduction of Occupational and Environmental Risk Assessment Studies
  • Generation of Escape Plans and Emergency Response Plans
  • Providing practical Health & Safety advice to our clients
  • Monitoring and ensuring compliance with Health & Safety legislation
  • Organizing and prioritizing projects to ensure on-time delivery of high-quality services

Requirements:

  • Engineering degree (Polytechnical School) - Electrical and Mechanical Engineers will be preferred
  • At least 3 years of experience in the Health & Safety field
  • Excellent MS Office Skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD (2D)
  • Presentation skills
  • Previous experience in conducting Fire Safety Studies, and Risk Assessment studies will be considered as an asset
  • Prior experience in conducting ATEX studies, Energy Audit Studies and Hazop Analysis (as Hazop Leader or Hazop Scribe),will be viewed as an advantage
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Greek and English
