Health & Safety Engineer / Site-Based Role in Thessaloniki

), a leading provider of External Protection & Prevention Services in Greece, offers expert consultancy in Occupational Health & Safety, Quality, and Environment. We are actively involved in major construction and industrial projects across the country.

As part of our ongoing expansion, we are currently looking to collaborate with a
Safety Engineer
to support the on-site implementation of Health & Safety procedures during a critical phase of a large-scale technical project in Thessaloniki.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Daily on-site monitoring of safety conditions and compliance with Greek legislation (Ν. 3850/2010, Π.Δ. 305/1996).
  • Conduct toolbox talks and regular site safety inspections.
  • Identify unsafe acts or conditions and report findings to site management.
  • Ensure proper use of PPE and assist in enforcing safety procedures (e.g., LOTO, work permits).
  • Collaborate with supervisors, subcontractors, and HSE teams to promote a safe working environment.
  • Maintain site safety documentation and actively contribute to incident prevention efforts.

Requirements:

  • Degree or diploma in Engineering, Health & Safety, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum 1-3
    year of relevant experience
    in technical or construction projects.
  • Solid knowledge of Greek Health & Safety regulations.
  • Very good command of both Greek and English (written & spoken).
  • Strong communication, coordination, and organizational skills.
  • Own vehicle and valid driving license.

The collaboration will be on a
freelance (invoice-based)
contract.
