Description

A Site Foreman's outlines the responsibilities of a supervisor who oversees

construction operations at a specific job site. They are responsible for

managing the team, ensuring projects stay on schedule and within budget,

and maintaining safety standards. They also serve as a point of contact

between workers and higher-level management, ensuring smooth

communication and coordination

Key Responsibilities:

 Supervision and Coordination:

 Directly supervise construction workers and subcontractors on the

site.

 Coordinate daily tasks and work schedules according to project

plans and priorities.

 Ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.

 Team Management:

 Lead and motivate the construction team.

 Train new workers and ensure they are proficient in their roles.

 Address any issues or conflicts that arise within the team.

 Quality Control and Safety:

 Inspect the quality of work to ensure it meets project

specifications and standards.

 Enforce safety regulations and ensure all workers adhere to

safety protocols.

 Manage and maintain tools, equipment, and materials on site.

 Communication and Reporting:

 Serve as a point of contact between the construction workers and

supervisors or project managers.

 Provide regular updates on project progress, including reports on

timelines, budgets, and any challenges encountered.

 Other Responsibilities:

 Assist with hiring, training, and evaluating employees and

contractors.

 Manage project budgets and ensure that all work is completed

within budget.

 Handle any issues or problems that arise on the job site.

Required Skills:

 Leadership and Communication: Ability to lead and motivate a

team, effectively communicate instructions and updates.

 Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and resolve issues that arise on

the job site.

 Technical Knowledge: Understanding of construction techniques,

building codes, and safety regulations.

 Organizational Skills: Ability to plan, organize, and manage multiple

tasks simultaneously.

 Time Management: Ability to stay on schedule and complete projects

within deadlines.
