Assistant Budget Controller
Job Summary:
Costamare is seeking to hire an Assistant Budget Controller to join its Dry Bulk team. The ideal candidate should have at least one years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a shipping company of the Dry Bulk sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of the Annual OPEX budget for the Dry Bulk Fleet.
- Follow up on the monthly OPEX reports received by vessel's Third-Party Managers.
- Prepare consolidated OPEX reports (Monthly / Quarterly / Annual)
- Prepare and submit reports to Chartering Department for the expenses submitted by the Third-Party Managers.
- Participate in the OPEX results reviews with the Third-Party Managers
- Assist in the approval process of funds requested by Third-Party Managers.
- Record all invoices submitted by the Third-Party Managers.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data management tools; experience with Power BI or similar software will be considered an asset.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
- High sense of organization, and teamwork.
