The role in detail
This is an
outsourced
hybrid role that combines hands-on project delivery with governance oversight, ideal for professionals who thrive at the intersection of execution and control. You'll lead end-to-end projects while ensuring consistent application of project management standards, tools, and reporting practices. Acting as both project driver and PMO enabler, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage stakeholder expectations, and maintain full visibility across timelines, risks, and KPIs. This is a high-impact position suited for someone who's equally comfortable steering delivery and shaping structure in fast-paced, enterprise-level environments.

The key responsibilities of this role will include:

• Drive end-to-end delivery of IT and business-related projects, from planning through execution and post-implementation review.
• Maintain and optimize project tracking systems (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jira, MS Project), ensuring accurate scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and external vendors to ensure aligned deliverables and timely execution.
• Lead project reporting, preparing executive dashboards, status updates, and Steering Committee presentations.
• Monitor KPIs, risks, scope changes, testing results, and delivery quality across the entire lifecycle.
• Facilitate governance structures such as Delivery Control Towers, PM checkpoints, and compliance reviews.
• Act as the single point of contact for project escalations, issue resolution, and status reporting.
• Standardize project execution practices, enforce adherence to internal methodologies, and coach junior team members where applicable.
• Provide training and support on PMO tools and contribute to continuous improvement of project governance frameworks.

To be successful at this role you need the following
(hard and soft skills)
:

• 2 - 5 years of experience in project management or PMO roles, ideally in tech or cross-functional environments
• Proven experience managing timelines, budgets, resource dependencies, and multi-stakeholder communication
• Proficiency in project tracking tools like Azure DevOps, Jira, and MS Project.
• Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid methodologies
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, both technical and business-facing
• Experience supporting governance processes, project audits, or reporting for senior stakeholders
• Experience in Banking projects will be considered as a strong asset
