Role Description

As an Electrical Engineer at UPNORM S.A., you will:

  • Conduct on-site electrical power quality audits using state-of-the-art analyzers (e.g. PQ Box, Fluke).
  • Conduct power quality assessments by diagnosing energy distribution, identifying harmonic disturbances, monitoring voltage conditions and power factor issues in electrical installations.
  • Lead the end-to-end execution of energy saving and power quality optimization projects, from engineering design through field implementation and performance validation.
  • Prepare technical documentation, including single-line diagrams, while verifying compliance with IEEE-519 and EN 50160 power quality standards.
  • Prepare proposals, cost-benefit analyses, and simulation reports for clients based on ROI-driven engineering.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers, including equipment manufacturers and industrial customers.
  • Support project management during installation, commissioning, and performance validation.
  • The company often operates off-site, so the corresponding flexibility is required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in industrial environment
  • Strong understanding of Power Quality Systems
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office 365
  • Very good knowledge of the English language
  • Experience with the NEPLAN and EPLAN design platforms will be considered a plus
  • Master's degree will be considered a plus
  • Fulfilled military obligations.
