Role Purpose

The Head of Supply Chain Intelligence will be responsible for designing, transforming, and optimizing the company's supply chain forecasting and planning ecosystem. The role focuses on advanced data analysis, forecasting models, automation, and digital transformation of supply chain processes, ensuring alignment with the commercial model and overall business strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and optimize forecasting models for demand, supply, inventory, and replenishment.
  • Build and improve mathematical & statistical models using Excel, specialized systems, or automation platforms.
  • Lead supply chain digital transformation initiatives, including automation and system development.
  • Create Supply Chain Blueprints, process documentation, and operational manuals.
  • Analyze and validate large data sets; perform data validation, testing, and stress testing of models and processes.
  • Collaborate closely with software developers and data teams for system design and implementation.
  • Develop forecasting systems with complex parameters and multi‑variable scenarios.
  • Gain deep understanding of the commercial business model, pricing logic, promotions, seasonality, and operational constraints.
  • Act as a high‑level process tester, ensuring robustness, scalability, and accuracy.
  • Support strategic decisions through insights, simulations, and scenario analysis.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Supply Chain, Forecasting, or Analytics roles.
  • Strong experience with forecasting models, automation, and system development.
  • Proven involvement in process blueprinting and manual creation, preferably in commercial or production companies.
  • Advanced analytical background with strong mathematical and statistical skills.
  • Hands‑on experience using Excel (advanced), forecasting tools, or specialized supply chain systems.
  • Ability to collaborate with developers; basic programming knowledge is highly desirable.
  • Strong data validation, testing, and quality assurance mindset.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Strong business mindset and strategic thinking.
