On behalf of our client
, we are looking for a
Senior Front-End Engineer
to take full ownership of the front end for a brand-new portfolio risk-management product at a global maritime group with offices across Europe and Asia.

This is your chance to own something end-to-end: choose the tools, define the architecture, set the design system, and ship fast. Your work won't be just a slice of a roadmap, but the product traders and risk managers rely on every day.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement the entire front-end architecture from scratch
  • Translate complex financial data into intuitive, performant visual components
  • Build dynamic dashboards, interactive tables (e.g., pivot tables), and financial charts
  • Optimize UI for performance, responsiveness, and accessibility
  • Own and maintain front-end build quality, testing, and deployment
  • Collaborate with back-end, DevOps, and data engineering colleagues
  • Lead front-end development processes and best practices

Requirements

  • 5+ years
    of professional front-end development experience
  • Proven experience building and scaling complex SPAs from scratch
  • Deep expertise in React (or Angular/Vue if exceptional)
  • Strong experience with state management tools (Redux, Zustand, MobX, etc.)
  • Proficient in TypeScript and modern JavaScript (ES6+)
  • Hands-on experience with financial or data-intensive UIs
  • Hands-on experience with interactive tables, charts, pivot grids, and dashboards
  • Hands-on experience with testing tools like Jest, Cypress, etc.
  • Experience with libraries like Plotly, Highcharts, D3, AgGrid, Tabulator, React Table
  • Knowledge of Git-based workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and code reviews
  • Familiarity with responsive design
