CodeeHut is seeking a
Full Stack Engineer (PHP oriented)
to join our team in
Pireaus
. This is a
full-time, in-office position
, with limited flexibility for occasional remote work.

We are open to candidates ranging from
Junior
to
Mid-Senior
level, depending on experience and skill set. The Full Stack Engineer will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and troubleshooting web applications, both front-end and back-end. They will also design and develop database systems and integrate these systems with the web applications.

In addition, the role includes
custom theme and plugin development in WordPress
, so experience with WordPress development will be considered a strong advantage.

Qualifications

For Junior candidates:

  • Proficiency in Back-End Web Development, Front-End Development, Software Development, and Full-Stack Development
  • Experience with PHP, MySQL, and Apache web server
  • Experience with JavaScript, HTML5, and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS)
  • Experience with Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles
  • Familiarity with MVC frameworks, such as Laravel or Symfony
  • Understanding of version control, such as Git
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • Understanding of Agile development principles is a plus
  • Experience with WordPress custom theme and plugin development is a plus

For Mid-Senior candidates (in addition to the above):

  • 3+ years of professional experience as a Full Stack Engineer (PHP oriented)
  • Strong expertise in Laravel or Symfony
  • Proven experience in delivering complex features or projects end-to-end
  • Ability to mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical decisions
  • Solid understanding of system architecture and performance optimization
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
  • Proven track record in WordPress custom theme and plugin development
  • Experience with front-end frameworks, such as Angular, is a plus
