We are seeking one dedicated Portuguese-speaking Customer Service Specialist to join our team, supporting users and merchants of a rapidly growing digital wallet service. This position is based entirely in the office and does not offer a remote working arrangement.

The Opportunity (1 Position Open):
You will be the primary contact for all user and merchant inquiries related to the digital wallet, including account setup, transaction processing, security verification, and compliance issues. This role requires meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining stringent financial security and compliance standards.

What You Will Do:

  • Account and Transaction Support: Assist users with account registration, Know Your Customer (KYC) verification, and resolving transaction disputes or errors.
  • Security Management: Handle queries related to unauthorized access, potential fraud, and guide users through account recovery and security enhancement steps.
  • Compliance Adherence: Strictly follow all internal and regulatory policies concerning financial services and data protection.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the in-office compliance and operations teams to resolve complex cases.
  • Communication: Provide clear, professional, and courteous responses via phone and email, simplifying complex payment policies for users.

What You Need to Succeed:

  • Language Fluency: Native or near-native proficiency in Portuguese (C2) is essential.
  • Experience: Proven experience (6+ months) in customer service, banking, financial services, or supporting a digital payment platform.
  • Attention to Detail: Exceptional precision and organizational skills required for handling sensitive financial data.
  • Work Arrangement: Comfortable working full-time in a high-energy, structured office environment.
  • Soft Skills: Strong empathy, professionalism, and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

O Que Fará:

  • Suporte a Contas e Transações: Ajudar os utilizadores com o registo de contas, verificação Know Your Customer (KYC) e resolução de disputas ou erros de transação.
  • Gestão de Segurança: Lidar com questões relacionadas com acesso não autorizado, potencial fraude, e orientar os utilizadores através dos passos de recuperação de conta e melhoria da segurança.
  • Adesão à Conformidade: Seguir rigorosamente todas as políticas internas e regulamentares relativas a serviços financeiros e proteção de dados.
  • Colaboração: Trabalhar em estreita colaboração com as equipas de conformidade e operações no escritório para resolver casos complexos.
  • Comunicação: Fornecer respostas claras, profissionais e corteses via telefone e e-mail, simplificando políticas de pagamento complexas para os utilizadores.

  • Fluência Linguística: Proficiência nativa ou quase nativa em Português (C2) é essencial.
  • Experiência: Experiência comprovada (6+ meses) em atendimento ao cliente, banca, serviços financeiros ou suporte a uma plataforma de pagamento digital.
  • Atenção ao Detalhe: Precisão e capacidades organizacionais excecionais necessárias para lidar com dados financeiros sensíveis.
  • Modalidade de Trabalho: Confortável a trabalhar a tempo inteiro num ambiente de escritório estruturado e de alta energia.
  • Soft Skills: Forte empatia, profissionalismo e a capacidade de lidar com informações confidenciais com discrição.
