The Role

We're looking for a Senior Embedded Systems Engineer to design, develop, and refine the firmware and control systems behind our interactive experiences.

This is a hands-on engineering role where you'll work directly with PCBs, sensors, and controllers, writing the logic that drives physical games and attractions.

What You'll Do

  • Design, develop, and maintain firmware for interactive entertainment systems.
  • Work closely with hardware engineers on PCB-level design and integration.
  • Implement real-time control logic for sensors, motors, RFID modules, and other game components.
  • Debug live systems (both on-site and via remote support) and deploy refined firmware updates.
  • Collaborate with software developers to ensure smooth communication between firmware, backend systems, and operator interfaces.
  • Translate gameplay concepts into stable, efficient code that runs inside physical experiences.
  • Provide technical support and insights to partners and operators.

What You Bring

  • 5+ years in embedded systems or firmware engineering.
  • Experience in operating esp32.
  • Strong coding experience in Python and/or Java.
  • Hands-on experience with microcontrollers, communication protocols (
    rs485,
    MQTT etc.), and debugging tools.
  • Solid understanding of hardware–software integration and performance optimization.
  • Analytical, curious mindset — you love diagnosing issues in live environments.
  • Comfortable collaborating across hardware, software, and creative design teams.
  • Fluent English communication.
  • Availability to work on-site in Diavata, Thessaloniki (own transport a plus).
