A Few Words About The Role
We're seeking a passionate backend software engineer to join our team. In this role, you'll primarily work in PHP (Laravel framework) using the best programming practices and state-of-the art technologies and tools. You will be responsible for supporting current and future projects, bringing new features for our customers, implementing API endpoints, refactoring existing code, and seeing changes through to completion in a live environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and create services and system architecture for our projects, contribute and provide feedback to other team members.
  • Work with the product and design teams to understand business requirements, formulate use cases, and then translate that into a pragmatic and effective technical solution.
  • Deliver programming tasks on a timely manner

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science.
  • Previous working experience as a PHP developer for at least two years (experience with Laravel would be considered a plus).
  • Familiarity with writing SQL queries (experience with PostgreSQL would be considered a plus).
  • Work autonomously, are excited by new technologies, and will never back down from the challenges of scale.
  • Fluent written and spoken English.

Desirable

  • Masters degree in computer science.
  • Solid knowledge of HTML, CSS, Javascript and AngularJS 1.7
  • Experience working with Version Control (git)
