Sounds great, what will I be doing?

As our Backend Engineer, you'll contribute to building and optimizing the APIs and backend services that empower our clients to enhance their experiences. The role is perfect for someone who enjoys working on technically challenging projects, delivering high-quality solutions, and collaborating closely with team members to drive results.

You'll work with a modern tech stack including Go, Kubernetes, Docker, Python, the Grafana ecosystem, PostgreSQL, and vector databases—powering robust, scalable, and data-intensive systems. You'll also collaborate with our AI engineering team, integrating machine learning models and supporting intelligent features.

It's also fun; shaking things up is what working for a growing company is all about. So you'll need to be flexible, comfortable with continuous change, and working in a high-tempo environment as we grow.

What do I need to bring with me?

You'll need to be able to demonstrate the core skills this role requires. You don't have to tick all the boxes right away; the important thing is that you're willing to learn. Here's what the team will be looking for:

Proven backend development experience: Proficiency in programming languages such as Go, Java/C#, Ruby, or , with a track record of building efficient and reliable backend systems
Solid foundation in designing and maintaining scalable APIs, distributed systems, data structures, algorithms, data pipelines, and microservices. Comfortable integrating with machine learning models and working with technologies like Go, Python, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP). Experience with asynchronous processing, REST/gRPC is valuable. Ability to collaborate closely with data scientists and ML engineers to deploy and monitor AI-driven systems effectively.
Collaborative mindset: Ability to work effectively within a team,participating in reviews, taking direction, sharing knowledge, and contributing to the success of joint projects
Focus on quality and testing: Hands-on experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and ensuring high standards in code quality and reliability
CI/CD familiarity: Understanding of continuous integration and deployment automation concepts to streamline development workflows
Adaptability and resilience: Skilled at thriving in fast-paced, Agile environments, with experience using tools like JIRA and Git.
