As we grow our footprint, we are looking for a strategic and people-driven HR Director in Greece to join our team and help us create an empowering and compliant working environment.

Your Mission

As the HR Director in Pescanova Hellas, you will manage all human resources operations, ensuring alignment with business objectives while fostering a positive and rewarding work culture. Reporting directly to the Territory HR Director #Maria Minguez (based at HQ) and functionally to the Country Manager in Greece #George Georgopoulos, you will be a trusted advisor to senior leadership, spearheading initiatives across recruitment, performance, development, compliance, and culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and execute HR strategies aligned with business goals.

  • Develop and implement policies on compensation, benefits, H&S, etc.

  • Lead initiatives for performance evaluation, recruitment, T&D, and succession planning.

  • Design and implement talent management programs to attract, develop, and retain top talent.

  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and internal HR policies

  • Prepare and manage annual HR budgets and headcount planning.

  • Serve as the point of contact for HR issues; advise employees and leadership.

  • Oversee change management initiatives to support company growth and transformation.

  • Oversee outsourced HR services (payroll, pension, legal, healthcare, etc.).

  • Use HR metrics to evaluate and improve programs and strategies and measure the effectiveness of HR initiatives.

  • Build strong employee relations to improve morale, productivity, and retention.

  • Maintain accurate personnel records and documentation systems.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field (master's is a plus).

  • 6–8 years of HR experience, ideally in similar roles.

  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.

  • Experience managing HR budgets, programs, and external partners.

  • Fluent in English (Spanish is a plus).

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Strong people and team management ability

  • Business acumen and strategic thinking

  • Decision-making, problem-solving and attention to detail

  • High ethical standards, discretion and initiative
