Senior Solid Waste Engineer
.

Key Responsibilities:

·Lead and coordinate the planning, design, and implementation of complex waste management projects.

·Prepare and review technical studies, feasibility reports, environmental impact assessments, and waste management plans.

·Provide expert consulting services on complex waste management and circular economy projects.

·Advise clients on regulatory compliance, best practices, and innovative waste minimization strategies.

·Supervise and guide junior engineers and technical staff.

·Ensure compliance with relevant environmental legislation and standards.

·Participate in project management activities, including scheduling, budgeting, and reporting.

·Liaise with clients, local authorities, and stakeholders.

·Represent the company at meetings with clients, authorities, and stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:

·Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related discipline. A master's degree will be considered an asset.

·Minimum
7 years of professional experience
in solid waste design, consulting or implementation.

·Proven experience in
project management
will be considered an asset.

·Proficiency in
AutoCAD
and other relevant design and drafting software (
Civil 3D
).

·Excellent analytical, organizational and communication skills.

·Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects simultaneously.

·Fluency in English (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus.

·Driving license and availability for occasional travel within Greece and abroad.

·Strong knowledge of national and EU waste management policies and legislation.
