Job Title: Naval Architect – Design & Construction Projects
About Us:
GTS Marine Services Co. is a naval architecture office specializing in the study, design, and execution of marine and shipbuilding projects. From passenger and tourist vessels to specialized floating structures, we deliver complete solutions with a strong focus on quality, innovation, and compliance with international standards and class regulations.
Role Description:
We are seeking a Naval Architect with proven experience in vessel design and construction, who will actively contribute to all stages of project development – from concept and feasibility studies to construction supervision and final certification. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with creativity and the ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Design of vessels and marine structures (GA plans, lines plans, structural layouts).
Preparation of technical studies in compliance with international regulations (IMO, SOLAS, ISO, Class rules).
Participation in project management activities and technical meetings.
Monitoring and providing technical support during construction.
Collaboration with shipyards, suppliers, and classification societies.
Requirements:
Degree in Naval Architecture & Marine Engineering or a related field.
Previous experience in vessel design and construction projects.
Excellent command of naval design software (Rhino, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Maxsurf, etc.).
Good knowledge of international regulations and classification rules.
Strong teamwork, problem-solving, and responsibility-taking skills.
Good command of English (spoken and written).
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in CFD/FEA analysis.
Project management background.
Familiarity with construction in both steel and composite/GRP materials.
