What to Expect

We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate Technical Program Manager to manage program execution and logistics for motors, actuators and machined parts prototyping. This person will be working as part of the Tesla motor technology team located in Athens, Greece.

What You'll Do

  • Manage the cross-functional team to ensure successful delivery of prototype parts
  • Work with stakeholders to take a vague problem statement, refine the scope of the analysis, and use the results to drive informed decisions
  • Develop a deep understanding of our product design and manufacturing processes to technically inform impact of changes
  • Accountable for creating, maintaining & communicating schedules & plans for prototyping projects
  • Coordinate build milestones with cross functional teams
  • Track project costs & drive cost management improvement
  • Develop & maintain effective communication channels to all stakeholders, identify team priorities & motivate the project team to complete critical tasks

What You'll Bring

  • Education in Engineering, or equivalent experience, with 3 or more years of experience in a mix of engineering and project management
  • Experience in technical program or project management
  • Outstanding organizational skills
  • Proven experience coordinating between technical and non-technical team members effectively, and across multiple time zones
  • Experience with project management tools (MS Project, JIRA, etc.)
  • Demonstrate innovation, technical excellence, attention to detail and self-direction
  • Excellent communication skills in English (speaking, reading and writing) and ability to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment
