Main Responsibilities:

  • Monitors and analyzes the international and local markets and stock indices and create reports
  • Develops/ recommends/ communicates procurement and strategic sourcing strategies to manage price volatility and to ensure supply that is compatible with organizational requirements utilizing a structured process and approach
  • Develops, drives and executes cost savings opportunities
  • Negotiates and purchases of various materials and goods
  • Ensures supplies of materials to factories
  • Processes orders
  • Monitors all activities related to the purchase, ordering and delivery of materials
  • Communicates with suppliers to resolve quality problems
  • Develops and strengthens buyer/ suppliers relations
  • Completes transactions which monitors daily, ensuring their continuous improvement
  • Prepares and presents of comparative assessments to confirm that the purchases are in the best possible price
  • Takes initiatives to reduce inventories
  • Develops, recommends and submits annual budget plans
  • Compiles reports of procurement activities

Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Chemical Engineering
  • Masters in Business Administration or Finance
  • 2-4 year's experience in relevant position
  • Excellent Knowledge of Greek and English languages
  • Excellent computer literacy
  • Knowledge of ERP systems will be appreciated
