Thermic Sol, one of Greece's leading manufacturers in the solar thermal industry, is seeking a
Buyer / Procurement Officer
to join our team in Magoula.

Role Description

The ideal candidate will ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of materials, maintain strong supplier relationships, and support the production process by securing all necessary components efficiently and accurately.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily purchasing activities and ensure timely supply of materials and components.
• Communicate with domestic and international suppliers regarding pricing, delivery schedules, and terms.
• Maintain and update the ERP system to support smooth procurement workflows.
• Identify, evaluate, and develop new suppliers while monitoring existing supplier performance.
• Collaborate closely with production, warehouse, and quality departments to ensure accurate deliveries and uninterrupted operations.
• Negotiate contracts and pricing to secure optimal cost and quality.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement function.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in Purchasing or Procurement, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of ERP systems and MS Excel.
• Excellent command of the English language (written & spoken).
• Proven negotiation skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and reliability.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Logistics, Business, or related field.
• Experience with imports, logistics, or customs procedures is considered an asset.
