Onassis Stegi is looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an
Accounting Assistant
for an
18-month contract
.

He/She will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day financial operations of the company. Working closely with the accounting team, this individual will assist in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring timely processing of financial transactions.

Main responsibilities:

  • Execute daily accounting entries in line with ELP guidelines
  • Prepare and post payments and invoices accurately
  • Conduct reconciliations (supplier, bank, fixed assets, etc.) and assist in month-end book closings
  • Provide support during financial and tax audits, responding to requests as needed

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (recent graduates are welcome to apply).
  • Previous experience in accounting or bookkeeping is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills in both the English & the Greek Language
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge of SAP will be considered as an asset
