Assistant Logistics Coordinator

· Provides an optimal transportation service according to client's request

· Finds most cost-effective solution for client within a specific deadline

· Provides client with quotation and time needed for entire operational case

· Follows up with clients on orders for vessels with active operation

· Instructs all parties involved and closely follows up until operation completed

· Keeps client informed in writing in every step

· Checks all possible solutions prior to advising a problem to client

· Once operation completed, sends final costs advice to client

· Keeps operational system updated

· Invoices completed cases

· Assists / supports PO handling

· Assists with training if required

· Keeps Operations Team Manager informed of:

Ø Any delayed shipment

Ø Any problem with agent

Ø Any urgent, difficult, mishandled case

Ø Any high value cases

Ø Non-profit cases

· Carries out the routine tasks/operations according to the company's policy and procedures of Integrated Management System

· Reports any Environmental accident or near miss to the Quality Executive

· Contributes to continuous improvement with suggestions for environmental and quality performance (i.e. improved procedures, new materials, or equipment etc.)

- Good knowledge of English
