Technical Assistant

We are currently seeking a diligent and proactive individual to join Minerva Marine Inc. as a Technical Assistant, to play a vital role in supporting the technical aspects of the company's fleet and maritime activities.

• Maintain accurate and organized technical records for existing vessels, equipment, and maintenance/reliability activities.
• Provide secretarial and administrative support to the Technical Manager, Technical Heads and Technical Superintendents.
• Assist in all technical operations ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards.
• Assist in the coordination of technical tasks and support in studies and budget monitoring.
• Perform day-to-day administrative tasks such as maintaining the department's files and processing paperwork, filing and retrieving documents, records, and reports.
• Maintain updated Vessels Classification documents, certificates of Technical Department, Drydocking file (digital filing and Q88 platform).
• Ensure proper maintenance of the team's facilities and arrange for proper general needs (i.e. stationery, business cards, etc.)
• Follow up administrative work for samples forwarding and monitoring.
• Administrative task on PMS software (NSE of ABS and SAP ERP).

Requirements

• A university degree preferably in Naval Architecture or Mechanical Engineering, or in other related disciplines
• Previous experience in a technical or administrative role within the maritime or shipping industry is preferred
• Basic understanding of ship operations, maintenance, and technical terminology
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize responsibilities, and maintain attention to detail
• Competent in Microsoft Office
• Excellent use of English
• Military obligations completed
